Lights of Lowther is a new Lake District festive light trail for 2026, transforming Lowther Castle's Gothic ruins, gardens and woodland with colour, music, installations and seasonal food and drink.
The trail runs on selected evenings from 14 November to 30 December. Entry slots begin at 4pm every half hour, with last entry at 8pm and the site closing at 9pm. Most visitors take around an hour. Tickets are pre-book only.
Adult tickets are £20, under-16s £15 and a family ticket is £65. Children under three are free. Parking is free for the event and dogs are welcome on the trail.
