Worth It

Excellent value for a three-day central Ambleside festival. The smart plan is to arrive by bus or stay within walking distance, then use the official map rather than moving a car between venues.

AmbleFest celebrates its fifth anniversary with craft beer, live music, DJs and street food in central Ambleside. The three principal festival venues are The Flying Fleece, Tap Yard and The Apple Pie, all close to Bridge House and Rydal Road. Sunday becomes Country Day with line dancing and country-influenced performances.

The official festival map gives public hours of 4pm to 11pm Friday, noon to 11pm Saturday and noon to 10pm Sunday. The live standard three-day entry ticket was £10 when checked; a ticket and T-shirt bundle was £20. Individual line-up times may change, so check the organiser's current programme.

This is primarily a beer and live-music event. The organiser does not publish one blanket family, dog or age policy covering every participating licensed venue, so visitors should check venue-specific rules before bringing children or dogs.

Accessibility

The official festival map marks accessible toilet locations and a first-aid point, but the event uses several existing businesses with different entrances, seating and crowd conditions. Contact the organiser or individual venue if step-free access or a quiet space is essential.

Weather plan

Programme spaces include indoor and outdoor areas. Bring a waterproof layer and check venue capacity and organiser updates.
