About The Sandbox Café – Keswick
The Sandbox Café is one of Keswick's most unusual indoor attractions: a café built around a purpose-made sandpit where visitors can operate hobby-grade radio-controlled construction vehicles including excavators, loading shovels and tipper trucks.
RC sessions can be booked in advance and are designed for children, families, friends and adults who simply fancy having a go. The sandpit is for the models rather than physical play, and children must be supervised by a responsible adult.

The café serves drinks and cakes, with seating around the model area and additional seating upstairs. Dogs are welcome in the café area on leads. The downstairs experience is designed to be wheelchair-friendly, with a ramp available for access.
Session length, availability, opening days and prices can change, so check the official booking information before travelling, especially on weekends, school holidays and wet-weather days.

Where do I start?! This is such an amzing way tp spend time with my young family. Amazing value at £10 for 30 mins. Who wouldn't want to play with diggers in a giant sand pit?! The coffee is great too! A MUST visit!!
