About Crow Park
Crow Park is one of the easiest free places to enjoy Derwent Water from Keswick. The National Trust describes the park as a lakeside green space a short walk from the town centre, with broad views across the water and surrounding fells.
The open grass makes Crow Park a useful picnic stop and an easy place for families to spend time outdoors without buying an attraction ticket. It also works as a natural link between Keswick, the Theatre by the Lake area, the boat landings and the eastern Derwent Water shore.

National Trust guidance identifies Crow Park as the starting point for accessible trails through Cockshot Wood and along the east side of Derwent Water towards Friar's Crag and beyond. The park itself is generally straightforward, but path surfaces and lakeshore conditions can vary with weather.
Sheep sometimes graze in Crow Park, so dogs should be kept on leads around livestock. General access to the park is free, while nearby parking, refreshments, boat trips and occasional organised events may carry separate charges or affect access.
