Low Wood Bay Christmas Lights Switch-On 2026

Low Wood Bay is hosting its first Christmas lights switch-on beside Windermere on Friday 20 November, free to attend, with the lights turned on at 7.30pm.

What to expect

The lakeside hotel is welcoming the public to its first festive switch-on from 5pm to 9pm, with the Christmas tree illuminated at 7.30pm. Visitors can browse stalls from local businesses, pick up seasonal food and drinks, and take in the setting beside the lake. The resort says non-resident parking will be available in its marina car park.
