About The Coro
The Coro stands in the heart of Ulverston and is one of South Cumbria's leading live entertainment and community venues. Originally built as the Coronation Hall, the venue has welcomed audiences and performers for more than a century. Its varied programme includes live music, theatre, comedy, dance, family productions, talks, festivals and locally produced community events. Performances range from major touring shows and well-known artists to local groups and annual Ulverston festivals. The main hall can be configured for seated and standing performances, while the building also includes smaller spaces used for meetings, workshops, celebrations and community activities. Event times, ticket prices, age guidance and seating arrangements vary by production. Visitors should check the individual event listing and book popular performances in advance.

The foyers, Main Hall, Supper Room and Ante Room are accessible to wheelchair users. Accessible toilets, wheelchair spaces and free essential companion tickets are available for registered customers. Most balcony seating is reached by stairs, so visitors with limited mobility may prefer stalls seating. The Coro is within walking distance of Ulverston railway station and the town centre. Several public car parks are available within approximately two to ten minutes' walk of the venue.
