About Salvana’s Restaurant
Salvana’s is a long-established Italian restaurant on Cavendish Street in central Barrow-in-Furness. Open since 1992, it has built its identity around an informal family atmosphere, familiar Italian favourites and a large base of repeat local customers.
The menu includes pasta, pizza and other Italian dishes, supported by an ever-changing specials board that brings in seasonal ingredients and different dishes. A takeaway menu is also offered subject to current availability, and booking is recommended because the restaurant can be busy.

Current lunch includes a Happy Hour offer on selected pasta and pizza, advertised at £13.50 from Monday to Saturday between noon and 2pm and on Sunday between 3pm and 4pm. These promotional prices can change, so check the latest menu before relying on them.
Current opening is split lunch and evening on Monday to Thursday, noon to 9.30pm on Friday and Saturday, and 3pm to 9.30pm on Sunday. Salvana’s is a strong choice for families, couples and groups looking for a traditional independent Italian rather than a national chain.
Our local note
A Barrow institution rather than a trend-led newcomer. Go for a relaxed Italian meal, especially if pasta, pizza and an established family-run atmosphere are what you want.
