Premier Inn Whitehaven is at Howgate on the A595 side of Whitehaven, useful for road trips along the Cumbrian coast and into the western Lake District. The hotel advertises free guest parking, but registration must be validated under the live on-site process.Restaurant change: The Howgate Brewers Fayre closed under that brand after service on 7 September 2026. Premier Inn Whitehaven remains open with breakfast, evening food and drinks for residents. A conditional property sale for a future value-pub operation does not yet confirm the replacement name or opening date.
