Workington Light Works Festival 2026

Two free evenings of glowing art, projections, music and community performance in Workington Hall Park on 28 and 29 November.

What to expect

Light Works returns to Hall Park for its third year. From 5pm to 7pm each evening, illuminated installations, movement and music transform the grounds. Community groups and local artists are central to the displays. Visit Workington says a lantern parade starts at 5pm on Sunday 29 November from the car park off Stainburn Road.

Good to know

Two separate sessions: Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November, each 5pm to 7pm. Follow permitted paths and do not enter the protected ruins.
