What to expect
For audiences who like comedy that takes strange turns: Paul Foot's shows are less predictable than a conventional observational stand-up night.
Paul Foot brings his new stand-up show The Future to Brewery Arts in Kendal on Friday 9 April 2027.
The alternative-comedy veteran starts with a simple question: what happened to all those optimistic visions of the future filled with jetpacks, friendly robots and impossible gadgets? From there, the show heads into Foot's characteristically surreal territory in search of something hopeful amid modern absurdity.
Foot has appeared on Would I Lie to You?, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, and was a co-winner of the 2023 Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show.
Published guidance for the tour is 14+.
