One of Cumbria's most atmospheric Halloween experiences because the setting is a real working slate mine.
Honister Ghost Tours run from 22 October to 1 November 2026.
The lantern-lit underground tour features the Phantom Miner, unexplained voices, cursed tunnel and Grey Lady, with stories rooted in the mine's history.
Price and duration
Approximately 1.5 hours. The current official Honister page lists £20 per person and warns that spaces are limited.
Session times
The public event page confirms the overall run, but the booking engine does not expose individual Ghost Tour times in crawlable output. Cumbria Guru has therefore not invented occurrences. Use the live booking system for sessions actually on sale.
