Levens Hall Extends 2026 Season Into November

Historic house and famous topiary stay open later for the first time

Levens Hall is extending its visitor season into November for the first time in 2026. The final normal opening day is Sunday 8 November.

What changes?

From 5 October some softer garden areas close to protect paths and borders, but full access to the famous Topiary Garden remains. Reduced autumn admission applies: house and gardens £15 adult, £5 child, £35.50 family; gardens only £9 adult, £3 child, £21.50 family.

House access

Weekday house visits in the earlier part of October are by guided tour at 11am, noon, 1.30pm and 2.30pm, bookable on arrival at no extra charge. Weekend opening and daily opening from 24 October return to the normal pattern.

Why it matters

The extension adds a major historic attraction for October visitors and half-term trips around Kendal and the southern Lake District.
