About West Point House
West Point House offers en-suite self-catering accommodation on Walney Island, around a short drive from central Barrow-in-Furness. It is designed to give guests more shared living space than a standard hotel, with single and double en-suite rooms supported by a large kitchen, dining area, lounge and garden.
The set-up works particularly well for longer stays, contractors and visitors who prefer to prepare some of their own meals. The shared kitchen is fully equipped, while the lounge has a large smart television and access to entertainment services. Bed linen and towels are supplied, with additional housekeeping arrangements for longer bookings.

Free off-road parking is available and the property currently has two electric-vehicle charging points. Arrival is contactless, with the access code sent before check-in. Current check-in is from 2pm and check-out is 10am.
The Walney location gives quick access to beaches, coastal paths and nature reserves without isolating guests from Barrow itself. For a holiday focused on the coast rather than town-centre nightlife, it is one of the more useful accommodation choices.
