Farfield Mill
A former Victorian textile mill near Sedbergh, now home to heritage displays, working craft studios, exhibitions, workshops, a shop and tea room.
Farfield Mill is a former Victorian textile mill on Garsdale Road, about one mile east of Sedbergh. The historic multi-level building now presents textile and industrial heritage alongside contemporary craft, exhibitions, artist studios, workshops, a shop and a tea room. Opening days, exhibitions, workshops and admission arrangements can change. Check the official visit information before travelling and follow the site's brown tourist signs rather than relying solely on sat-nav directions.

Our local note
A worthwhile indoor heritage and arts stop, especially in poor weather. Allow time for the mill displays, studios, shop and tea room.
