About Eden Rock Carlisle
Eden Rock Carlisle is a major indoor bouldering centre at Durranhill Industrial Estate, close to the M6. The climbing walls are designed for a broad range of abilities, from complete beginners to experienced climbers, with training areas, regular route setting and a dedicated room for younger children.
First-time adult climbers who cannot already demonstrate safe independent use must either be supervised by a competent member or complete a pre-booked induction. Children's classes start from age four, and advance booking is usually required for coached sessions. The centre also has a specialist climbing shop and an eco-conscious café. Check registration, supervision, age, footwear and booking requirements before travelling, particularly for a first visit or family session.
