Ulverston Dickensian Festival is on 28 and 29 November, and its Saturday Market Cross programme lists Ulverston Victoria High School Little Big Band from 3.45pm, including the Christmas lights switch-on at 4pm. The wider weekend has street theatre, marching bands, costume parades, stalls and plenty of festive atmosphere.
