Blast Sheets is a photography exhibition by North West photographer Max Boardman at the Heaton Cooper Studio Archive Gallery in Grasmere.
The work explores abandoned and altered quarry landscapes, with photographs made over the previous two years largely in the Lake District National Park, alongside images from the marble quarries of Carrara in Italy.
The exhibition considers geology, extraction, weathering and the way nature begins to reclaim worked landscapes. It is curated by Julian Cooper and is shown alongside one of Cooper's paintings.
