Access from the Backhouses Walk/West Walls area. Use the barrier-controlled entrance and note the steep pedestrian steps towards the historic quarter.

West Walls is a large council car park with 250 general spaces, three disabled spaces, nine motorcycle spaces and an electric charging point.
It is barrier controlled and closed overnight between 11pm and 6.30am. Commercial vehicles, coaches, caravans, motorhomes, campers and minibuses are not permitted; use the council’s designated alternatives.
