Plans are being brought forward for a new 69-bedroom budget hotel in Whitehaven town centre.
BEC says the development is proposed for the former bus depot site on Bransty Row, opposite Wetherspoons and close to Whitehaven railway station and the town centre.
If planning permission is secured, BEC says the hotel would be operated by a nationally recognised hotel operator.
