Which Cumbria cinemas are taking part?
Vue Carlisle
Vue Carlisle is at 50 Botchergate, CA1 1QS. It suits visitors already staying in the city, arriving by train or combining a film with Carlisle shopping and food.
Vue advertises all films and seats at £4 across the weekend. Its Carlisle programme includes mainstream releases, family films and Big Screen Events, with 2D and 3D options, 4K picture quality and Dolby sound. Select the right date before booking because the listing changes by performance.
The cinema page does not promise dedicated customer parking. Use a lawful Carlisle city-centre car park and check the closing time before a late film. Carlisle station is close enough to make rail realistic, subject to the final return service.
Vue Barrow
Vue Barrow is at Hollywood Park, Hindpool Road, LA14 2NA. It has six screens and 390 seats, including Lux, Ultra Lux and VIP options.
Vue advertises all films and seats at £4 for the weekend. That makes premium-style seating particularly attractive, but the final checkout remains authoritative. Confirm the seat label and total before paying.
Vue says cinema customers can park free for up to three hours, with three Blue Badge spaces directly outside. Read the signs and consider the complete visit, not only the advertised film runtime: trailers, queues and food collection all use parking time.
Rheged near Penrith
Rheged is at Redhills, Penrith CA11 0DQ, a few minutes from M6 Junction 40 on the A66 towards Keswick. It is often the most practical choice for northern Lake District visitors because it combines cinema with food, a gallery and shops.
Rheged's Screen 1 has a 60-foot screen, 260 seats, raked seating and a 4K laser projector. Screen 2 is a standard auditorium with 180 seats. Do not assume the chosen film is in Screen 1; the booking page shows the assigned auditorium.
The live weekend programme includes a mix of family and adult films, each marked with the £4 promotion. Age certificates still apply. Rheged has 250 visitor parking spaces. Parking is free for five hours; longer visits must be registered with the café or deli and cannot exceed 12 hours. The main car park is locked after the venue closes.
Brewery Arts, Kendal
Brewery Arts is at 122A Highgate, Kendal LA9 4HE. The independent arts centre now has three cinema screens, including a smaller Screen 3 with sofa seating.
Brewery Arts confirms £4 tickets for standard screenings on 5 and 6 September, with films including major releases, comedy, music and family choices. The Terminator Double Bill is excluded from the offer.
The on-site car park has 50 spaces including four accessible spaces and is paid. It can fill quickly when cinema, music and other activities overlap. Kendal station is within walking distance; Oxenholme connects by local train, bus or taxi.

The national organiser describes the promotion as any film, any format and any seat at participating cinemas. That is the headline, not permission to ignore local terms. Individual venues decide their programme and may show an exclusion or charge in checkout.
