National Cinema Weekend Cumbria 2026

National Cinema Weekend takes place on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September 2026. Participating cinemas offer tickets at an advised price of £4 for any film, format and seat, although the national organiser warns that prices can vary at a small number of venues.

Important exception

Brewery Arts says its £4 price applies to standard screenings but excludes The Terminator Double Bill. Other venue-specific supplements, booking charges or exclusions may be shown at checkout.

Booking advice

The official National Cinema Weekend FAQ recommends advance booking because popular screenings are expected to sell out. The national website does not process payment; it directs visitors to the cinema's own booking system.

Choose the correct date, location, film, certificate, format and seat before paying. A ticket for one cinema cannot be assumed to transfer to another venue or performance.

Accessibility and families

Film age certificates still apply. Accessible seating and captioned, audio-described, baby-friendly or autism-friendly screenings depend on the specific cinema and programme. Check the actual performance, not only the venue's general access page.
