Low Briery Holiday Village occupies a peaceful wooded riverside setting on Penrith Road, around a mile from central Keswick. The River Greta runs through the site, while a direct gate gives guests easy access to the traffic-free Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Trail. Accommodation spans several styles and budgets, including luxury lodges, timber lodges, Canadian cabins, static caravans, holiday cottages, apartments, glamping pods and larger houses. Layouts, river views, hot tubs, dog policies and accessibility differ between individual units, so compare the exact accommodation description before booking rather than assuming every property has the same facilities. A major recent addition is The Bobbin Mill Cafe. The café is open to people staying at Low Briery and to walkers and cyclists passing on the adjoining railway trail, serving coffee, cakes, snacks and drinks.

Current published café hours are 10am to 4pm seven days a week, although seasonal changes are possible. Low Briery works particularly well for visitors who want to leave the car parked. The old railway path provides a mostly traffic-free walking and cycling connection towards Keswick and Threlkeld, while the town centre is within walking distance. Free Wi-Fi and on-site parking are promoted by the operator. Low Briery is dog friendly, but rules can vary by accommodation type.
