Brambles at Newton Rigg

A deli is planned as part of the offer, with locally sourced produce alongside food prepared by the Brambles kitchen. The operators have previously sought regional growers, bakers, food makers and other suppliers, pointing towards a strong local-produce focus. Brambles is also planned as a flexible gathering and event venue. Announced uses include funeral teas, family celebrations, birthday lunches, small receptions, private hire and catering for groups. A licence application is evidence that preparations are progressing, but it should not be treated as confirmation that the licence has been granted or that the venue is already open. A final public launch date, regular opening hours, full menus, prices and restaurant reservation arrangements have not yet been released, so visitors should not travel expecting Brambles to be trading yet. Newton Rigg Estate is north of Penrith and close to Junction 40 of the M6 and the A66. The wider estate includes parking, accommodation, business premises and leisure facilities.
