Kendal Calling 2027 tickets will go on sale at 10am on Thursday 6 August 2026, giving festival fans their first chance to secure a place at next year's return to Lowther Deer Park.
The four-day Lake District festival is scheduled for Thursday 29 July to Sunday 1 August 2027. It will be the 22nd edition of Kendal Calling, which has grown from its Cumbrian roots into one of the UK's best-known independent music festivals.
Organisers are expecting another extremely busy ticket launch and have warned that several popular camping options could sell out quickly.

- On-sale time: 10am
- Festival dates: Thursday 29 July to Sunday 1 August 2027
- Location: Lowther Deer Park, near Penrith, Cumbria

Tickets are expected to appear through the festival's See Tickets booking system when the sale opens. Cumbria Guru will update its event listing when a direct Kendal Calling 2027 booking page becomes available.
Which Kendal Calling tickets and upgrades will be available?
Kendal Calling has confirmed that its usual ticket and accommodation choices will be included in the launch. These are expected to include standard festival tickets alongside popular upgrades such as:
- Live-In Vehicle pitches
- Emperors Fields upgraded camping
- Great Plains upgraded camping
- Tangerine Fields pre-pitched accommodation
- Deer Lodge boutique accommodation
General camping is normally included with a weekend ticket, while premium campsites, boutique accommodation and vehicle pitches require separate bookings. Buyers should carefully check what is included with each 2027 product before completing an order.
Which options could sell out first?
The festival says all signs point towards another record on-sale. Organisers particularly expect Emperors Fields, Great Plains, Live-In Vehicles and selected Deer Lodge accommodation to sell out very quickly.
Anyone hoping to use one of these options should be ready before 10am, have their group numbers agreed and know which campsite or accommodation type they want. Waiting to organise the group after the sale begins could make the difference with the most limited upgrades.
Can the cost be spread with a payment plan?
Yes. Organisers have confirmed that payment plans will be available across all tickets, allowing customers to spread the cost over the following ten months.
The precise deposit, instalment amounts and full 2027 prices should be checked on the booking page when sales open.
Are there ticket purchase limits?
To give more people a chance of booking, Kendal Calling has placed limits on the number of tickets that can be bought in one transaction.
- A maximum of six adult tickets across weekend tickets and upgrades
- A maximum of two Live-In Vehicle tickets
These limits are particularly important for larger groups. It is worth deciding in advance who is booking and making sure separate orders do not accidentally leave members of the group in different campsite areas.
Has the Kendal Calling 2027 line-up been announced?
No. The artist line-up has not yet been announced. The first ticket release therefore gives regular visitors the chance to book before the headliners and wider programme are revealed.
Kendal Calling is known for combining major live acts with comedy, family entertainment, food and drink, late-night areas and smaller stages across Lowther Deer Park. However, no performers should be treated as confirmed for 2027 until they are announced by the festival.
Where does Kendal Calling take place?
Kendal Calling takes place at Lowther Deer Park, south of Penrith in Cumbria. Despite the festival's name, the site is not in Kendal itself.
The rural setting is a major part of the event's identity, but it also means visitors need to plan travel, parking and camping carefully. Detailed 2027 travel information, shuttle arrangements and opening times are expected closer to the festival.
Plan ahead for Kendal Calling 2027
