Minty Land by BeWILDerwood

Minty Land by BeWILDerwood is a new indoor family attraction inside The White House at Brockhole on Windermere. Opening on 25 July 2026, it brings BeWILDerwood's imaginative storytelling and adventure-play style indoors for children aged from babies to 12 years old. The experience is themed around Minty the Crocklebog and includes towering tree-top tunnels, river-rapid play, magic mirrors and other hands-on areas designed for climbing, exploring and imaginative play. It is a separate ticketed attraction and deserves its own visit plan rather than being treated as part of the general Brockhole grounds. Visits are sold as one-hour sessions. The introductory ticket is £12.50 and includes admission for one child and one adult. Additional adults are currently £2, while a babe in arms and one accompanying adult can enter free. Availability is limited by session capacity, so advance booking is strongly recommended during weekends, school holidays and wet-weather days. Published opening is from 10am until 5pm, with the final entry at 4pm. The current session pattern includes 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm starts. There is no noon session shown at launch, so check the official ticket calendar rather than assuming admission is continuous throughout the day. Minty Land sits within the wider Brockhole site, where visitors can also use the grounds, lakeshore and other separately operated attractions. The White House Café is next door, and public toilets and baby-changing facilities are available on site. Brockhole has paid parking, but spaces are limited and the site can fill quickly during busy periods. Bus services including the 555 and 599 stop outside, and Windermere Lake Cruises serves Brockhole Pier, making public transport a practical option from Windermere, Ambleside or Bowness.
