About Watchtree Nature Reserve
Watchtree Wheelers operates a fleet of more than 100 cycles suited to different ages and abilities, making the reserve particularly valuable for inclusive and traffic-free cycling. Entry and parking are free, although donations support the charity and charges apply for cycle hire and selected events. A coffee shop serves homemade food and drinks. Dogs must remain on leads, and visitors should check current trail, bike-hire, access and weather information before setting out.
Our local note
An unusually accessible mix of wildlife, walking and inclusive cycling close to Carlisle. Free entry makes it excellent value, with donations strongly encouraged.
