The Wainwright is a traditional free house on Lake Road, designed as a welcoming stop for walkers, climbers, runners and visitors exploring Keswick. The pub serves up to eight real ales, with a strong focus on Cumbrian breweries.Food puts a local spin on traditional pub favourites. Beef and lamb are sourced from Cumbrian farms, fish comes from a local supplier, and other regional produce is used where possible. Oak floors throughout help make the pub practical and welcoming for dogs.Food is generally served at lunch and again in the evening, but current times and menus should be checked directly before visiting.
