The Royalty is a historic cinema and entertainment venue on Lake Road in Bowness-on-Windermere. The building began life as a public hall in 1927 and continues to host film screenings alongside live music, comedy, theatre and special events. A working Wurlitzer organ remains part of its character. The venue reopened under new operators in June 2025 following a period of closure.
