The Dock Museum

Set into an original Victorian dry dock we tell the fascinating story of Barrow: Victorian boom town and twentieth century centre of innovation. There is so much to do. See our stunning ship models, WWII shelter, temporary exhibitions and film show. Top off the day with a visit to our cafe (home made cakes recommended!) brand new gift shop, children’s playground or walk along our coastal paths. We have a vibrant exhibition and events programme so there is always something new to see and do.
