About Holy Trinity Church, Millom
Holy Trinity is one of Millom's most significant historic buildings. Historic England lists the church at Grade I and records a twelfth-century nave and chancel, later medieval additions and substantial surviving historic fabric.

The church and nearby castle make a useful heritage pairing for visitors interested in the history that predates Millom's nineteenth-century industrial expansion.
This remains a working church. Opening arrangements can vary around services, events and maintenance, so check locally before making a special journey to see the interior.
Our local note
One of the strongest historic sites around Millom and a useful reminder that the area's story began long before the iron-mining boom.
