Florence Arts Centre is based at the former Florence iron ore mine on the edge of Egremont. The centre supports visual and performance arts through exhibitions, workshops, live events, creative sessions and its distinctive Florence Paintmakers activity, which uses local mineral pigments connected to the site's industrial heritage. Visitors can also find galleries, a shop, a café and a wildlife garden. The centre states that it has on-site parking, ramped access, level access through the centre and an accessible toilet.
