Farrell's Arcade

There is an esports and competitive side to the idea too. Company trade-mark filings cover amusement arcade and gaming services, games and tournaments, esports competitions and entertainment events, suggesting the venue is being developed with organised play as well as casual visits in mind.

When will Farrell's Arcade open?

Not just yet. Farrell's Arcade announced the project in September 2026, but the Whitehaven venue, exact address and opening date have not yet been revealed. The business says those details, together with the full gaming line-up, will be announced as plans are confirmed.

That means there is nothing to book at the moment and no confirmed opening hours or admission prices. We will update this guide as soon as Farrell's reveals more.

What is planned?

The early announcement includes retro arcade favourites, modern gaming, pinball, tournaments and parties. The aim is a social venue where gaming is something to do together rather than simply an at-home experience.

Farrell's is also using the slogan “Go Grid or Go Home” and is inviting people to join its “Grid” email list for opening updates through the official website.

Is this the same as LEVELS Whitehaven?

No. Farrell's Arcade is a separate new business. Whitehaven already has LEVELS on Duke Street, which focuses heavily on virtual reality, esports, immersive technology, education and digital skills. Farrell's is being promoted as a more traditional social arcade concept combining retro and modern games, pinball, competitive play and parties.

Planning a visit

Hold off making a special journey for now because Farrell's Arcade is not yet confirmed open. Once the venue is announced, Cumbria Guru will add the address, map, parking information, accessibility details, opening times, prices and the confirmed games available.
