About Emma's Dell

Emma’s Dell is a family-run licensed crêperie in the centre of Grasmere, named after a nearby place associated with William Wordsworth. Its speciality is freshly made sweet and savoury crêpes, with both wheat and buckwheat batters and fillings prepared on the premises.

The wider menu includes homemade cakes and scones, local ice cream, smoothies, loose-leaf tea and artisan coffee. The business makes a point of using Cumbrian producers where possible, which gives it a stronger local identity than a generic village café. Vegan and other dietary choices are available, but anyone with an allergy should confirm current preparation directly.

Red Lion Square is central and easy to reach on foot from the main village attractions. Seating can fill quickly during wet weather and school holidays, so allow some flexibility at peak times.

Our local note

A distinctive café choice when standard sandwiches and cakes feel too predictable, with freshly made crêpes and a strong local-produce thread.
