Lake District Tea Co: Kendal Mint Tea – Review

I recently picked up a box of Kendal Mint Tea (£5.50) from The Big Shop with the Little Door in Pooley Bridge, and it’s quickly become a favourite.

This tea is pure peppermint, no blends, no extras, which makes for a beautifully clean and refreshing cup. The flavour is cooling and bright without being harsh, and I’ve found it brilliant for settling my stomach after a meal.

There’s also a comforting warmth to it, like a hug in a mug, which makes it just as lovely in the evening as it is mid-afternoon. An added bonus: it’s caffeine-free, so you can enjoy it without any jitters.

Simple, soothing, and very Lake District in spirit – fresh, pure, and restorative.

You can also order Kendal Mint Tea direct from the Lake District Tea Co website if you can’t get to Pooley Bridge.
