The Inn on the Square in Keswick is looking for a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join its welcoming front-of-house team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Previous experience in a receptionist or hospitality role is preferred but not essential, as full training is provided.

The Role

As a key point of contact for guests, you will welcome and check guests in and out, manage reservations, and process payments accurately. You’ll support banking and reconciliation tasks and assist the Food and Beverage team when required to ensure guests receive a seamless experience throughout their stay.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll have a warm, friendly manner and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team. Strong attention to detail is essential, particularly when handling bookings, payments, and written communication. Flexibility is important, as the role includes weekend working with shift patterns of either 7.30am–3.00pm or 3.00pm–10.30pm. A positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues are key.
