Townend's 3pm guided tour lasts about 45 minutes in a small group. Tuesday focuses on general Townend history; Wednesday adds the historic Library; Thursday adds the Taste of Townend historical-food interpretation. Booking is essential and tickets are normally released around two weeks ahead. The event itself is free, but normal Townend admission applies to non-members. Arrive about ten minutes before the booked time.
