Stranger Folk is a mobile-app folklore adventure at Allan Bank from 3 October to 1 November 2026, running during the property's published 10am-4pm opening times.
The experience uses British folklore rather than conventional horror and is designed as a spooky family adventure. Download the app before your visit where possible, then explore the house and grounds as the story unfolds.
Pair it with a Grasmere day using our Grasmere guide and Lake District Halloween guide.
