What to expect
A gloriously irreverent collision of hard rock and bluegrass, and a particularly fun choice if you know your AC/DC as well as your banjo music.
Hayseed Dixie bring 25 years of Maximum Rockgrass to Old Fire Station Carlisle on Wednesday 28 October 2026.
The band built their reputation by reworking hard-rock and classic-rock songs as fast, playful mountain music, beginning with their cult A Hillbilly Tribute to AC/DC. Since then they have released a long run of studio and live albums while taking their bluegrass-meets-rock show around the world.
Sweet Electric are listed as support. See Tickets currently lists the Carlisle show as 14+, with 14 and 15-year-olds accompanied by an adult.
