What to expect
For people who want jokes at maximum density rather than long storytelling: Delaney's whole act is engineered around rapid-fire one-liners and wordplay.
Gary Delaney brings his new show Gary On Laughing to Westmorland Hall at Kendal Leisure Centre on Sunday 8 November 2026.
Delaney has built his reputation on tightly written one-liners, inventive puns and an unapologetically adult sense of humour. After a previous UK tour that ran to hundreds of dates, this show is billed as an entirely new collection of jokes rather than a greatest-hits set.
If you know him from television clips or his hugely shared stand-up videos, expect the same rapid pace but with a full evening's worth of new material.
