Ambleside Christmas Lights 2026

Ambleside Community Christmas Lights takes place on Saturday 21 November 2026. The organiser has confirmed that the event will return to its traditional focus on the lantern procession and lights switch-on.

The event website currently lists stalls and entertainment from noon and a lantern procession later in the afternoon. Importantly, the organising committee has confirmed there will be no firework display in 2026, so older event timetables mentioning fireworks should not be relied upon.

Plan the day with our Ambleside guide and Lake District Christmas guide.
