Finding the entrance
Follow signs from the A6/Shap area towards Wet Sleddale Reservoir. The final road is narrow; drive slowly and be prepared to meet oncoming traffic.
About this car park
Wet Sleddale is a free rural car park with space for up to 15 vehicles and no height barrier. It overlooks the reservoir and is reached by a narrow local road from the Shap area.
There are no services at the site. Take all litter away, avoid blocking access and do not create informal parking when the car park is full.
