AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY 2026: Ravenglass Car Park is a useful starting point for the Wasdale Explorer. The shuttle runs on Saturday 29, Sunday 30 and Monday 31 August from the village car park bus shelter to Muncaster Castle, Gosforth, Nether Wasdale and Wasdale Head. The 2026 fare is £3 for unlimited all-day journeys and children travel free.
