About this car park

Buttermere Village Car Park is the main Lake District National Park Authority parking area in the village, close to toilets and the start of popular lake and fell walks.

The valley becomes heavily congested at peak times. Visitors should use designated parking only and must not obstruct roads, verges or access for larger and emergency vehicles.
