Beautiful 16th Century Coaching Inn both in Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales National Park
The Kings Head in Ravenstonedale is a 16th Century Country Pub, Boutique Hotel and Restaurant, lying at the foot of the Howgill Fells.
We are in Cumbria, but also in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the area is a haven for Tourists of all kinds.
We have 6 stunning, contemporary Rooms, all en-suite (all with bath and shower), a lovely, cosy Bar and Restaurant, serving proper, well cooked Pub Food, Real Ales and quality Wines. We have log fires, a warm welcome always, and we’re a very dog friendly place too.
Outside we have a large seating area on Riverside, where you can watch the water go by, along with a large Beer Garden to enjoy in the sunshine.
Open 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm (for food) and for drinks until 11pm (12pm Friday and Saturday).
Ravenstonedale is an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Whether you’re on the Coast-to-Coast walk, hiking around the Eden Valley, or looking for a quiet escape for a few days, The Kings Head is the perfect choice.
